We had a very competitive season overall. Our record was 19 wins and 14 losses and at least 11 of the of losses was to top 8 ranked in 3A-5A Teams. We had a full schedule with all teams back in the conference and postseason play, we knew the competition would be quite a bit harder. The team worked through some adversity at times this season and came out stronger. They met all but one of the team goals that they laid out early in the year. The goal was to win state. but the team that beat us out was only one game from the State championship game. “This group of seniors is going to be difficult to replace. We received second place in our Salina Tournament/Hulbert Tournament and the JV team won Second Place In Wagoner JV Tournament. They are supportive of the team and put the team goals first. All of these girls have been so dedicated to the program.” We want to wish the girls good luck in club this year and can't wait till next year!
Coach Butcher commented, “All players improved in many different ways, and I am excited to see what next year brings for everyone!”
